Join us to celebrate London PRIDE at the Zoo!
London Pride is renowned as one of the biggest and best celebrations in the world, embracing diversity and encouraging everyone to be their true-selves.
This year, we are excited to dedicate the same weekend to celebrating Pride at London Zoo.
Celebrate Pride 2024 at Zoo Nights - Now sold out!
This event is now sold out. We still have tickets available for some of the July Zoo Nights, book now to avoid disappointment!
On Friday 28th June, for one night only, we’ll be joined at Zoo Nights by a very special guest – Ella Vaday from Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK!
Ella will here with us all night as part of our Zoo Nights Pride Takeover and golden tickets will be up for grabs throughout the night to win a chance to meet her! Ella will be hosting our lively animal-themed gameshow at 8.30pm on the night and you may catch sight of her at some of our animal talks, too.
Plus, bookers for the 28th June event can:
- Hear themed Pride animal talks
- Find our Pride hub on the main lawn and grab yourself some stickers and badges
- Take part in Pride quizzes
- Learn all about LGBTQ+ behaviours in nature
- Learn about influential LGBTQ+ figures within the science & conservation industry
- Join in with Pride-themed face painting* designs
Gender neutral toilets will also be available.
Weekend Festivities - 29 & 30 June
The celebration continues throughout the weekend with activities for all daytime visitors:
Rainbow crafts
Join us for fun craft activities suitable for all ages. Create your own souvenir to commemorate your visit to the zoo during London Pride weekend!
Animal talks
For a selection of our regular talks we will highlight fascinating facts about Pride in the animal kingdom. Discover how penguins show altruism through same-sex couples raising chicks, learn about the importance of close bonds among male lions for their safety, and how asexuality is found in many more species than just humans.
Fabulous tours
Enjoy unique tours celebrating LGBTQIA+ behaviours in nature. Information on tour times and meeting points will be available at the zoo entrance.
We will run two tours per day, once at 11am and again at 3pm.
Tours will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
